Great adaptation of a fantastic song. Great message and creative outlet to give hope to those who face bullying.

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christm….oh wait.
First ACTUAL snow of Chicago winter. And it’s middle of January. Maybe Al Gore WAS onto something.

Some Scissor Sister love…”Shady Love” that is.
Wish my school plays were more like this growing up.

A Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt duet. Perfection at it’s best.
Wishing everyone a very Happy New Year!

The Quarter-Life Anti-Crisis « Thought Catalog →
“I can’t help but recall the sentiments of anti-optimism in Voltaire’s satire Candide: we must cultivate our garden. We can’t stop the world’s suffering or bring peace to the Middle East, but what we can do is nurture our potential, and maybe then we can create something that will better the world. We are actually lucky in this sense, because despite the so-called crappy hand we’ve been dealt, technology has afforded us countless tools to create our own success.”

Florence Welch. Absolutely intoxicating. Perfect song and album for this rainy day.

Bam! It’s Friday with The Black Keys. Time to boogie.
-
Rodrigo y Gabriela and “The Nightmare Before Christmas”.
One of my favorite bands married with one of my favorite movies. I’m in instant Halloween happiness with this version of “Oogie Boogie”. I think this beats out Polyphonic Spree’s version of “Town Meeting”.
